CO G11 – THE RAGGEDS. Terrain & Access The Raggeds encompasses high alpine terrain spanning 6,275 to 13,532 feet across nearly 159,000 acres, with 92% public land providing extensive opportunity for self-sufficient hunters. Wilderness comprises 40% of the unit, requiring nonresidents to hire a licensed Colorado guide for any hunting in those areas. The remaining 60% of public land—national forest and BLM—offers unguided access and supports the unit's mountain goat populations across rocky, elevated habitat.
