NV 112: Terrain & Access NV 112 spans 5,648–9,358 feet of elevation across nearly 183,000 acres of public land (99.8%). This high-country unit offers expansive terrain ranging from mid-elevation sagebrush and pinyon-juniper to alpine basins and ridgelines. Access is excellent—nearly all land is publicly owned, and roads penetrate the unit, making foot-and-vehicle hunting feasible across most areas. The unit's high-elevation character creates a vertical hunting landscape. Lower drainages at 6,000 feet support different habitat and hunting approach than the alpine sections above 9,000 feet.
