UT Mule Deer Unit Bally Watts

UT Bally Watts — Tactical Overview Hunt Character Bally Watts is a general-draw deer unit offering accessible hunting near the Wasatch Front. The unit has good deer numbers supported by recent mild winters and improving buck-to-doe ratios. Access is mixed: the northern portion (toward Salt Lake Valley) faces access restrictions that compartmentalize hunting opportunity, while the southern half offers broader public-land options. Terrain varies across the unit, and hunters should expect to encounter both open and forested country. The unit's proximity to major population centers makes it popular, but also means it receives significant hunting pressure. Local hunters report..
